SVP Development Hospitality, APAC


An international hotel owner, operator and investor based in Thailand with more than 550 hotels in 55 countries. It is one of the largest hospitality and leisure companies in the Asia-Pacific region.

Role: Has responsibilities for planning and successfully implementing all Development activities for the company in line with the group’s strategy and five year business plan.


Defining Development Strategy and Growing the business
• Define the hotel Development strategy by brand, in line with the overall business strategy. This includes target marketplace definition, proposal of financial deal hurdles for CFO and CEO to review and approve.
• Advise on our strategy and approach in relation to acquisition opportunities moving forward.

Deal Sourcing, Assessment, Presentation and Negotiation
• Oversee all research and sourcing activities to identify new hotel opportunities on behalf of the company. Review potential opportunities with CEO. Maintain extensive and close relationships across the international hotel Owner and investment community and other sources of new deals.
• Carry out financial analysis and due diligence on proposed hotel projects for Management Agreement deals, including financial projections required to determine the viability of each deal. Support the process to carry out investment due diligence on proposed projects in which the company is considering making an equity investment.
• Present recommended deals to the Approval Committee, with all required supporting analysis.
• Lead and complete all related negotiations required to successfully complete each proposed deal in line with brand contract criteria and financial hurdles.

Our core services are strategic and M&A advisory.
• Establish, nurture, and sustain network of strong executive relationships with current and new clients and strategic alliance partners (Thai, Chinese and Western)
• Build and grow the funnel of opportunities, leverage existing services and lead expansion into our target accounts, increase revenue and market presence (new customers, markets, and industry developments)
• Ability to recommend and advise clients on cross border investment opportunities
• Team leader in execution of M&A or strategic advisory projects
Qualifications, Experiences and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or other fields
• Master’s degree preferred but not necessary
• 7-10 years’ experience in finance, banking or consulting, if related to Thailand and China market will be more advantage.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese at least HSK Level 4.
• Strong analytical and financial skills
